La Boca
The neighbourhood of La Boca in Argentina has a strong personality. Elements such as the colourful façades, the Avellaneda bridge and how our obsession with football give this neighbourhood its unique and characteristic image. In our project, we tried to transfer all these ideas on to the most transcendental elements of the premises such as the bar. On the back wall of the hall, we made a graffiti mural representing the urban art and highlighted cultural elements of Argentina and La Boca. As for the usability of the space and having in the mind their main objective- to show their clients their star product, the Argentinean asado- the bar has been adapted allowing an initial casual eating space. A dining area is found at the back which allows its customers to dine without disturbing others and whilst enjoying the live-kitchen experience.
