BACK HOME

This single-family house situated in the historic quarter of Arahal had a somewhat pesky plot: It was very long as it had a two-street façade and was very narrow. These two factors require a special approach when dealing with the connecting spaces. Therefore, we took advantage of these connecting spaces to define areas and rooms as well as to establish the communication between them. Finally, these “useful” rooms simultaneously became helpful and pleasant. They also have an important role in the house since their function is not only to communicate the rooms but can also be used for leisure purposes. This resulted in a modern home that does not clash with the style of the old town and presents an elegant exterior image using traditional materials with a clean and sophisticated layout.
